From the Knox County Clerk
The Crofton School Bond Special Election is fast-approaching. Ballots were mailed to eligible Crofton School District voters in both Knox County and Cedar County on Monday, August 18, 2025.
VOTED BALLOTS MUST BE RETURNED TO YOUR RESPECTIVE COUNTY CLERK’S OFFICE BY 5:00 P.M. ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2025. A brown Return Identification Envelope was included in each ballot packet. The voted ballot must be placed and returned in the brown Return Identification Envelope.
Options to return your voted ballots are as follows:
1.) Mail - the brown Return Identification Envelope has your respective County Clerk’s mailing address printed on it so you can mail that back by affixing postage of 78 cents;.
2.) Drop box location - drop boxes are available for voters to deliver their brown Return Identification Envelopes. Knox County voters may deliver their voted ballots in their brown Return Identification Envelopes to the election drop box located inside the East Foyer of the Knox County Courthouse. The East Foyer is open 24/7 and audio/video monitored. Cedar County voters may deliver their voted ballots in their brown Return Identification Envelopes to a drop box located outside the Cedar County Courthouse on the north side.
3.) Hand delivery to your respective County Clerk’s Office – deliver the voted ballot in the brown Return Identification Envelop to the office of the Knox County Clerk, 206 Main Street, Center NE or the Cedar County Clerk, 101 S Broadway, Hartington NE.
