The recent dairy judging competition brought outstanding results for area students, with teams from Senior, Junior, Junior High, and Alternate divisions showcasing their talent and dedication.
Senior Team
The senior team placed 10th overall earning a blue ribbon. Leading the way was Anthony Steffen, who received the champion title and a purple ribbon. Teammates were Carter Steffen (59th), Layne Schieffer (68th), Wyatt Guenther (76th), and Elizabeth DeRoos (77th).
Junior Team
The junior team received a strong third place finish with a blue ribbon. Highlights included Brynn Hansen earning seventh place individually along with a purple ribbon, and Emma Birger finishing 12th with a blue ribbon. Other placings came from Isaac Steffen (24th), Brady Guenther (48th, red), Shaun Anderson (60th), Becca Steffen (69th), Wyatt Gobel (71st), and Macklin Folck (73rd).
Junior High Team
The junior high team placed seventh overall receiving a red ribbon. Berkley Hames stood out with an eighth place finish and purple ribbon, while Heather Steffen (29th, Red) and Jayden Tramp (33rd, red) also did well. Additional team members included Chesney Foxhoven (49th), Gavin Mueller (51st), Cairi Culliton (55th), Joseph DeBlauw (57th), and Easton Foxhoven (62nd).
Alternate Team
The alternate team finished 6th overall. Top performances came from Axel Folkers (17th, red), Sawyer Schendt (21st, red), and Breanna Schieffer (25th, red). Rounding out the team were Karsyn Hart (27th), Davis Heine (40th), and Dylan Doyle (48th).
