Crofton golf competes at home and LCC

Senior Devin Brummer led the team placing 2nd in the home meet at the Crofton Lakeview Golf Course on Monday, April 11, which led the team to a seventh place finish.

Layne Schieffer placed 19th with a score of 93. Following behind him was Justin Heimes placing 35th scoring 102, right up behind him was Emersyn Guenther placed 36th with a score of 104. Carter Hans was next with a score of 107 placing 38th place. Not too far behind was Wyatt Gobel scoring 109 placing him in 40th place, and Cash Lenzen placed 47th scoring 132.

The Crofton Boys golf team placed seventh again at the LLC golf invite in Laurel on Thursday, April 16.

Leading the team, once again, was Brummer placing 11th with a score of 84. Schieffer, again the next best golfer, placed 17th with a score of 86. Justin Heimes, with a score of 94, placed 39th; following not too far behind was Emersyn Guenther scoring 98 and placing 46th. Carter Hans placed 57th with a score of 105.

At this point in the season the golfers are hitting their stride. Schieffer said, “Everyone is getting better and overall everyone is doing great!”
