On Friday, August 7, Crofton’s Market in the Park will be holding a Youth Entrepreneur Market in addition to the regularly scheduled Market in the Park.
Market in the Park committee head Susie Hillman explained what the Youth Entrepreneur Market is, “Kid entrepreneurs are usually kids 5 to 17 selling products and services. We will be including a kids night along with our normal vendors at Crofton’s Market in the Park.”
Youth entrepreneurs can offer things such as jewelry, slime, food, drinks, mowing services, etc.
“I am hoping by putting this out there we can get some imaginative ideas.” she concluded.
Hillman is also asking youth to provide the music for that day.
Parents can contact Susie Hillman to sign their kids up for the Youth Entrepreneur Market.
Other recent market news is on July 31; Norma Keuhler, Lindsay Rabbass with Small Town Homemade, and Jay Hensler with music will be back at the Market in the Park. Crofton Post-Prom will also be holding a brat fundraiser in the South City park shelter that day as well during the Market in the Park hours.
