Ballpark Cleanup Started...
Crofton baseball youth, coaches, parents, and supporters worked to do spring cleanup and field and landscape maintenance this past Sunday, April 11 at the Crofton Baseball Park in preparation for their upcoming seasons. Another volunteer day cleanup has been rescheduled to April 24 at 1 p.m. all are welcome.


Visitor Center opens

Crofton Squad named Heroes...
The Crofton Rescue Squad was the recipient of the Modern Woodmen's Hometown Heroes Award on Tuesday, March 30. Business representative Tammy Matuska presented the squad with a check for $100 to be donated to a charity or nonprofit as well as $100 for use by the squad. The squad voted to donate to the American Legion elevator project. The donation to the squad will be used toward another defibrillator at a public place in Crofton.

Named to All-State list...
Crofton Warrior and Lady Warrior student athletes were named to the Nebraska School Activities Association's Academic All-State Awards for the winter season.

Council approves pool refurbishment plan
The Crofton City Council voted to open the current Crofton pool by Memorial Day of this year for the summer season, and also approved an estimate of costs for the refurbishment of the pool, starting a new direction for the future of the swimming pool in the community.
